VFN Praha - Day Care Unit Renovation – Construction Works

In 2025, almost the entire renovation of the building intended for the future day care unit of the Department of Psychiatry of the General University Hospital in Prague was completed, including the modifications required for the preparation of the final approval process scheduled for the beginning of 2026.

The project included an extensive renovation of the building with an emphasis on modernizing operations and creating high-quality facilities for the provision of healthcare services. The works were carried out in close cooperation with the client and in accordance with the requirements of the Ministry of Health grant programme.


 

The renovated building is a valuable Baroque structure dating from 1715–1725, which has been extended and modified over the centuries. As a listed cultural monument protected under the State Heritage Preservation Act, it is located within the Prague Heritage Reservation, which is part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Our construction works on the renovation of the psychiatric day care unit commenced on 2 September 2024.
